Rollover Accident Reconstruction

In both accidents below, the driver lost control of the vehicle prior to going off the road and rolling over.  The typical questions being addressed include:

  • What was the roll sequence?

  • What was the mechanism of injury?

  • What was the motion of the occupant's body during the roll sequence?

  • Would the occupant have sustained the same injuries had he/she been properly restrained?

Based on the road survey data, the physical evidence left on the roadway such as gouges and tire marks, the damage to the vehicle such as scraping to the exterior, we reconstructed the roll sequence of the vehicle and the occupant dynamics during the roll sequence.
